OBJECTIVES: Promoting gender equity (justness) through Teaching, Research, Training and Advocacy. The followings are the specific objectives of Sansthamata Sushiladevi Salonkhe Centre of Women’s Studies.

• To teach Women’s Studies as a discipline
• To develop resource centre for academicians, activists and public
• To conduct research projects on women issues
• To sensitize people to acknowledge and appreciate women’s role in society
• To raise public awareness about gender discrimination and unequal status of women through programmes
• To act as a consultative agency on women’s rights, gender sensitization for Governmental and Non-Governmental Organizations
• Organization of Seminars, Conferences, Workshops, Special Lectures, Discussions, Women Court related to Women’s issues on the grounds of interdisciplinary knowledge.
• Publications of research and critical texts with feminist analysis.
